The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has invited the academics and students of the University of Jaffna to participate in the interactive session with the Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. As per the above invitation received through the Vice Chancellor, University of Jaffna and the Dean, Faculty of Arts, Department of Economics had arranged to host the above event at the Board room of the Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna on 25th February (Sunday) at 15:00 – 17:00.
This presented an excellent opportunity for our academic community to engage in a discussion with a distinguished expert on current economic development. The discussion provided valuable insights into the economic landscape and fostered meaningful exchange with our academic community.
Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe (Governor), Mrs. Yvette Fernando (Senior Deputy Governor), Mrs. AW A Dilrukshini (Assistant Governor), Dr. Sujeetha Jegajeevan (Director, Regional Development Department), Mr. Chathura Ariyadasa (Director, Regional Development Department) and Staff of Regional Development Department and Regional Office – Kilinochchi participated from the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Vice Chancellor, Deans of the Faculties, Council members, Administrative staff, University Business linkage, Bursar, Staff, and Students from the Faculty of Arts and Management Studies and Commerce actively participated in the session.
