EXPOSURE VISIT \u2013 COLOMBO STOCK EXCHANGE_ JAFFNA BRANCH, FIRST YEAR<\/h2>
The field visit was organized by the Department of Economics with the aim of exposing the 1st year students to experience real market practices and learning from the stock market. On 16th 2023, first-year students of the Department of Economics went on a Field Visit to the CSE, Jaffna Branch. EXPOSURE VISIT \u2013 COLOMBO, SECOND AND THIRD YEAR<\/h2>\n

The field visit was organized by the Department of Economics with the aim of exposing second and third-year BA honors undergraduates specialized in Economics. The places to visit were the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, the Colombo Stock Market, Department of Census of Statistics, the Department of National Planning, Katunayake Export Processing Zone and the University of Colombo. This exposure field visit was successfully completed as scheduled on the 28th and 29th of July 2023 with 55 students and four academic staff joined in the field visit.<\/div>\n
